NATO choppers violate Pak airspace in FATA

Islamabad, Dec. 12 (ANI): At least two NATO helicopters violated Pakistan’s airspace on Saturday afternoon near Landi Kotal in the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA), spreading panic amongst local residents.

Sources said both the helicopters, made very low flights over the region, and returned after hovering for some time inside Pakistan’s territory.

This was not the first instance when NATO choppers from Afghanistan violated Pakistan’s airspace, The Nation reports.

Several such incidents have been reported in the past one month. (ANI)
